Nettrekker

Nettrekker is the ultimate "safe" search engine for kids. Here at Lions we are trying to protect our students from getting into inappropriate content on the web. While other search engines such as Google and Yahoo are great, they just aren't ideal for students. Not only can students find an infinite amount of information on any number of subjects, they can manipulate their searches to include, educational games, outlines, timeline, famous people etc.

Teachers also have a variety of options to choose from inside of Nettrekker. They can find specific sites dedicated to help teachers in any number of areas. They can print out lesson plans w/ sites internally linked inside of Netrekker. Finally, teachers can create "saved search lists" to help students navigate to sites they deem appropriate.
